Mela Mela Returns Policy
This returns policy applies to Website purchases only, and not to purchases made in person at the boutique.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ITEMS BOUGHT ON SALE, INCLUDING OUR 3 FOR 2 SALE, ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
Our items are vintage, and therefore pre-worn and pre-loved! Please bear this in mind when making your purchase. You are buying a piece of history! Therefore, naturally, the items are not flawless and may have slight blemishes. However, we at Mela Mela take great pains to point these out in the items description; please therefore review the description in full to be sure of its condition, and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any queries.
You can return any item (excluding hosiery, swimwear and pierced jewellery) you are not completely happy with for a refund. First you need to e-mail us at email@example.com within 10 days of receiving the item to let us know that you will be returning the item. Then we will issue you with a return code, which you will need to enter onto this returns form. Once you've filled in the rest of the form, all you need to do is package the form and item securely, and post them back to the address below. Please ensure you return the item within 7 days of receiving your return code.

Unfortunately, we cannot refund the cost of postage (this includes the original delivery cost and return postage if you are outside the UK). If you wish to request reimbursement for postage due to an incorrectly advertised or faulty item, please contact us. Please be aware that the maximum amount we can refund you is the standard Royal Mail recorded delivery cost. We also cannot refund the excess cost of parcels returned to us via courier or next day delivery.
All goods will be inspected on return and must meet the following criteria:
- All original tags must be attached
- All items must be returned in the same condition as they were received
- All items have not been worn
- All items are free of any odours
- All items must be in saleable condition
Once we receive your returns parcel we will then process your refund to the card or PayPal account from which the original payment was made and at the price you purchased your item/s at (this includes sales items).
We recommend that you use recorded mail and keep the receipt of postage as we are not responsible for any orders that are lost by mail service providers when you are returning them to us. Please ensure your goods are packed securely and cannot get damaged on the way. In the interest of hygiene, hosiery and pierced jewellery cannot be returned. Goods purchased online cannot be refunded in one of our retail stores and goods purchased in stores cannot be returned online.
